Kate Comes from a family of auctioneers, spending every childhood Saturday working at the family business in the beautiful mountains of southwestern Pennsylvania. Unbeknownst to her, those Saturdays became the beginning of her training in props: learning each and every item that one would come across in an individual's lifetime. Kate has always enjoyed the luck of the find and a good bargain. She browses antique stores, flea markets, and of course, estate auctions to see unique items from all avenues of life. She enjoys playing the piano, collecting Crazy Daisy -- "Spring Blossom Green" -- Corelle dishware and playing with her lovable dog, Penny Lane.
